Applications by job site

An ATS (applicant tracking system) is the website an employer uses to collect applications. Shares are of all applications Salvo confirmed as sent in the window.

A dash means Salvo's form filler for that site does not record the cover letter box yet, so we leave it blank. A blank is not zero.

Form length and time to send

Fields filled in counts every answer Salvo typed or picked, from name and email to screening questions. Time to send is how long Salvo's software took from opening the form to a confirmed send. A person typing by hand takes longer.

Posting age is the time from the date the job site lists for the posting to the moment Salvo applied. Every posting in this table was still open at that moment. Salvo applies to newer postings first, so these ages run younger than the average posting on each site.

How fast employers ask for an interview

Salvo users have gotten a live count of interview requests in total (how we count). For timing, we used the 80 requests we could tie to exactly one confirmed application, counting each employer once per person.

Share of interview requestsArrived within
25%13 hours
50%2.4 days
75%7.3 days
90%11.4 days

If two weeks pass with no reply, the odds of an interview from that application are low, and it makes sense to keep applying elsewhere.
