Best free auto-apply tools, and what free covers

Several auto-apply apps are free to start, but free covers different things, from a full application submitted for you to autofill that leaves the click to you. Salvo is a free-to-start AI app that applies to jobs for you, and your first 2 interview requests are free with no card.

What "free" means here

Free is a loose word in this market. For some apps it means a trial. For others it means a plan with a cap, or one feature (autofill) with the rest locked. So we sort the options by what the free part covers, using each product's own site as fetched on 2026-10-05. Prices and limits can change.

Free that includes someone else submitting

AppWhat the free part coversWhere it stops
SalvoApplies for you, rewrites your resume per job, preps you for interviews. No card.Your first 2 interview requests are free. Then Turbo, from $14 a week
LoopCVFree plan, no card, no time limit, a set count of matching jobs dailyExact caps not stated; paid from 9.99 EUR a month
TsentaFirst 25 applications, no cardPaid tiers $19, $39 and $99 a month

Salvo. It finds jobs that fit your written rules, rewrites your resume for each job, applies for you and saves a submission receipt. It submits itself on Greenhouse, Workable and Ashby today. More job sites are coming, but that's what works now. The free part isn't time-boxed. It ends at your 2nd interview request, which is when replies need Turbo: $14 weekly, $39 monthly, $89 every 3 months or $299 yearly, with a 7-day trial that needs a card and cancels in one click. Details are on the Turbo page and the qualified interview pricing page.

LoopCV. The free plan has no card and no time limit, and it covers a set count of matching jobs a day. Auto-Apply can submit on its own from server-side scans, or you can use One-Click Apply. It also lists an AI mock interview and career coach. The site doesn't state exact application caps per plan, a named ATS list or per-job automatic resume rewriting. Paid plans start at 9.99 EUR a month, and refunds are offered within 7 days if you've used under 10% of quota. It suits you better than Salvo if you want a free plan with no end date and a long list of boards.

Tsenta. The first 25 applications are free, no card. It opens the form and submits after you approve the materials, and you can edit the tailored resume first. It names nineteen ATS platforms including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. Interview prep isn't stated on its pages. If your target employers use Workday or Lever, Tsenta covers that and Salvo doesn't yet. See Salvo vs Tsenta.

Huntr. Free is generous for a tracker: base resumes without limit, 2 tailored ones, 2 application packets, up to 100 tracked jobs and autofill on 1000s of sites. You click submit. No free trial is stated; the free plan's credits are the test. Interview support is a tracker only. It suits someone who wants to control every application by hand.

Teal. A free plan exists, no card, with a tracker, a Chrome extension that bookmarks jobs and a resume builder with keyword matching. It doesn't apply for you. A free trial isn't stated, and neither is interview prep detail.

Simplify. The Copilot extension autofills forms in one click for free, on a claimed 100,000+ career sites. Tailored resumes per job and bullet rewrites sit in Simplify+. Auto-submit isn't stated, so plan on pressing submit yourself.

Jobright. The free plan limits AI resume generation, insider connection emails, LinkedIn email finding and autofill each day, and leaves out the live career coach. The user submits. More in Salvo vs Jobright.

Not free to start

JobCopilot, Massive and LazyApply don't state a free trial on their sites. LazyApply says there's no free trial and bills yearly ($99, $149 or $999), with a 30-day money-back guarantee. JobCopilot starts at $0.93 a day. Massive doesn't state a price on its own site. AIApply's Auto Apply starts at $49 a month paid up front, as shown on our AIApply comparison.
