Salvo vs Massive: auto-apply apps compared

Massive is an auto-apply service built for volume, while Salvo is a free-to-start AI app that applies to jobs for you, rewrites your resume for each one and preps you for interviews. Massive does not state its price on its site, so Salvo's free start is the clearer cost to plan around.

This page uses only what Massive publishes at usemassive.com, as of 2026-10-05. Prices and features can change. Where the site is silent we write "not stated on their site". One note on names: massive.com is a separate market-data company and has nothing to do with this one.

What Massive does well

Massive has real strengths, and some are ahead of what we offer.

If you need a visa-sponsorship filter, or you want volume with no input from you, Massive fits that better than Salvo does today.

What Salvo does

Salvo is a free-to-start AI app. It finds jobs that fit the rules you write, rewrites your resume for each job, applies for you, and preps you for each interview. It saves a submission receipt too.

Salvo submits the application itself and does not autofill and wait on you. Today it submits itself on Greenhouse, Workable and Ashby, and more job sites are being added. See how Salvo applies for the steps.

Each user gets their own Salvo applicant email, and Salvo says it does not sell your data. The security page has the detail.

About price

We could not load Massive's pricing page, so we cannot tell you what it costs. The only price we found came from a third party. One third-party comparison site lists $59 per month or about $150 per quarter (source). That is not Massive's own price, it could be out of date, and you should confirm on usemassive.com before you decide.

Salvo's cost is published. It is free to start with no card, and your first 2 interview requests are free. Then the Turbo plan keeps replies unlocked at $14 weekly, $39 monthly, $89 every 3 months or $299 yearly. The trial runs 7 days, needs a card, and cancels in one click. Salvo is free until your 2nd interview request. The pricing page has the full wording.

Where they differ in practice

Both apps submit for you and both tailor the resume. That is the shared ground, and it is more than many auto-apply apps offer.

The gaps are in what each side says in public. Massive publishes its monthly volume and its visa filter. It says nothing we could find about job sites, interview prep or a free tier. Salvo publishes its price, its three direct-submit job sites, its interview prep and its receipts, but gives no volume promise and covers fewer job sites for direct submission.

If you care about interview prep, Salvo says it has it and Massive is silent. If you care about a set monthly volume, Massive gives one and Salvo does not. You can see other apps on our alternatives page.

Who each one suits

Massive suits you if you want volume with no input from you and you care about a visa-sponsorship filter. Salvo suits you if you want a free start, a resume rewritten for each job, interview prep and a receipt for each submission.
