Comparison

Salvo vs Careerflow

Careerflow is a career app with a free Basic plan where autofill fills your forms and you submit each application yourself. Salvo is a free-to-start AI app that applies to jobs for you, so Salvo submits the application itself and you don't click send.

The short version

Careerflow and Salvo both help you get hired, but they split the work differently. With Careerflow you keep your hands on every application. With Salvo, the app does the applying.

Careerflow has a free Basic plan, a job tracker, a resume builder, an ATS checker, cover letters and a LinkedIn optimizer. That is a wide set of features at a low entry price. If you like to apply by hand and want everything in one place, it is a solid pick.

Salvo is built for people who don't want to spend evenings filling forms. You write down the rules for the jobs you want. Salvo finds jobs that fit those rules, rewrites your resume for each one, applies, and preps you for the interview. It applies for you and saves a submission receipt.

This page uses what each company says on its own site, as of 2026-10-05. Where their site is silent, we say "not stated on their site" instead of guessing.

Two Careerflow facts on this page come from search snippets and not from pages we opened: the LinkedIn autofill mention (Chrome Web Store listing) and the 2M+ user count (home page). Check them yourself before you rely on them.

What Careerflow does well

It has a free plan. You can sign up, try the tracker, and see how the resume features feel before paying anything.

Premium costs less per month than Salvo's monthly Turbo, and the annual plan at $14.41 per month is lower still. How the annual price is billed (one lump sum or monthly) is not stated on the pages we looked at, so check before you buy.

The feature set is wide. Resume builder, ATS checker, cover letters, a LinkedIn optimizer, a job tracker and a networking tracker all sit under one login. Its home page calls it an AI career copilot with 2M+ users (snippet-sourced, as noted above).

You stay in control of each submission. Careerflow says nothing goes out until you confirm. Some people want exactly that, and for them hand control is a plus.

Mock interviews are included at the top tier. Questions are built around the job you're aiming for, with scored feedback and score tracking.

Where Salvo is different

The big difference is who clicks submit. Careerflow's autofill saves typing, but you still open each posting, check the form and send it. Salvo does that part itself on Greenhouse, Workable and Ashby, and it keeps a receipt for each one.

Salvo also writes the resume for each job and preps you before the interview. All of it starts from rules you write once.

Salvo's public counts are small and plain. As of 2026-10-05, the public home-stats API at https://sendsalvo.com/api/public/home-stats shows 200 interview requests logged, 233,244 jobs in inventory and 11 platforms. We don't publish application counts.

On privacy, each user gets their own Salvo applicant email, and Salvo says it does not sell your data. Details are on the security page.

Cost over a month

Careerflow Premium at $23.99 is cheaper than Salvo's monthly Turbo at $39. But the two buy different things. Premium gives you features you use yourself, and mock interviews need Premium Plus at $44.99. Salvo's Turbo plan keeps interview replies unlocked after your first 2 interview requests, and those first 2 cost nothing.

So a fair way to compare is to try Salvo first, since it's free to start with no card. The full price rules are on the Turbo page. If you want to see other apps too, the alternatives index lists more comparisons.

Who each one suits

Careerflow suits you if you want to apply by hand and keep every click, if you want LinkedIn profile work and resume scoring next to a tracker, or if you want a free plan to start on.

Salvo suits you if you don't want to fill forms at all, if you want your resume rewritten for each job without doing it yourself, and if the jobs you want sit on Greenhouse, Workable or Ashby.

Some people could use both. Careerflow for LinkedIn and tracking, Salvo for the applying. If you want to try Salvo, start here.
