Connect Salvo to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex

Ask your assistant things like "How is my search going today?", "Which companies confirmed my application?", "Prep me for my interview", "Pause my search" or "Apply to this job: (link)". It sees only your own search, and it cannot delete anything.

Server address

Every app uses this one address. You sign in with your Salvo email and a six-digit code.

Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app)

Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
Name it Salvo and paste the server address above as the URL. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty.
Click Add, then Connect. Sign in with your Salvo email and the code we send.
In a chat, turn Salvo on from the tools menu and ask about your search.

Claude Code

Run this in a terminal:

Then start claude, type /mcp, pick salvo and choose Authenticate. A browser tab opens for the email code.

Prefer a token? Make one below, then use:

Codex

Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml (or run codex mcp add salvo --url with the address):

Then sign in once:

codex mcp login salvo

With a token instead, add bearer_token_env_var = "SALVO_TOKEN" under the same block and set SALVO_TOKEN in your shell.

ChatGPT (developer mode)

Open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and switch on Developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise).
Click Create. Name it Salvo, paste the server address as the MCP server URL and pick OAuth for authentication.
Sign in with your Salvo email and code when ChatGPT asks.
In a new chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode and turn Salvo on.
